Raymond H. Vance
Ray, the third son of Arthur and Henrietta Vance, was born in Washington D. C. His early education was in Toledo and Port Clinton, Ohio.
In Columbus Ohio he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Sociology from Capital University in 1968, and the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in 1972. He also took post graduate work in Church Growth, Evangelism, Biblical Studies, and Pastoral Care in California, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Missouri.
He served Trinity Lutheran in Hemet CA, Lutheran Church of the Master in La Habra CA, Grace Lutheran Church in Upland CA and Zion Lutheran Church in Huron Ohio.
His interests are woodworking, computer programming, music composition, and ham radio.
Ray and his wife Barbara have three children and 2 granddaughters.
