What's Happening at Zion
The Zion Youth Flower Sale continues
through May 18. We are offering $10 “Flower Dollar”
coupons valid toward your choice of flats, potted flowers or hanging
baskets at Colonial Gardens in Huron. Purchase your
“:Flower Dollars” between services on Sunday or in the
church office during the week.
Zion's Gardeners spend countless hours each summer tending the flower beds and plantings around the church and Christian Center. On May 17th, from 9 a.m. to noon, they will be having a work day to prepare the beds, plant geraniums and mulch. They can use all the help they can get! Please mark your calendar and join them for a few hours that day. Many hands make light work
Summer Fundays will return June 1st. and run through July. The sessions are posted on the 9:30 summer Master Scheduler. The teacher packets are made up with the lessons and supplies. They can be found in the last room on the right of the lower educational wing or ask Leslie Foxworth.
Stop at the table in the narthex to view a new red hymnal, and to place your order. We’ll get them when we have enough ordered. (Update: we have 80 ordered so far - we need 175 total before purchasing them.)
Beginning May 25th: study of Book of Romans at Adult Sunday School on Sunday mornings at 8:15 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

Altar flowers have been given to the Glory of God by Larry and Stephanie Holtz in celebration of their 5th wedding anniversary. Communion elements are from Jim and Julie Hall in honor of the Chi-Rho class.
The next Retiree’s lunch is Wed. May 7, 12:00 p.m. at Sandusky Yacht Club. Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.
