In Person Kids of the Kingdom (KoK)

is currently suspended.

Kids of the Kingdom is the faith formation ministry for pre-school and elementary kids between age 4 and grade 5 that is held weekly during 10:00 am worship. AS WITH ALL PARISH ACTIVITIES, IN PERSON KoK IS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED, however, we do deliver activity kits available to all who want them. Please contact the church office at 419-433-4711 or Leslie Foxworth, KoK coordinator, if you would like to receive your copy.

The following is a brief overview of the program:

The children meet in the sanctuary, are called by Pastor Kris to the altar to receive a blessing, and are then dismissed to the Fellowship Hall for their lesson. We usually begin the session with music, a DVD lesson, and a short conversation about the theme of the day, and prayer. Children return to the sanctuary to celebrate communion with their families.

Each lesson from the Whirl curriculum ties into the readings that will be heard in worship that day. The kids will hear the same story and do activities related to the theme for the day. All of this is to help them connect more fully with God through learning, prayer, and worship. There is no KoK during the summer months. This program is free and there is no registration. All children are welcome.
